Alzheimer’s Services of the East Bay held a grand opening on September 23 for its new Fremont site on the campus of the Dominican Sisters of Mission San Jose. Over 200 attendees got a sneak peek into the state-of-the-art new daytime care center.

The ribbon cutting was attended by Fremont Mayor Bill Harrison, ASEB CEO Micheal Pope, ASEB Board President Lance Reynolds, and Prioress Sister Gloria Marie. Public Relations guru and ASEB Early Stage Program attendee Irv Hamilton had the honor of cutting the ribbon to welcome the public into this new memory care center.

ASEB Mission San Jose will have a capacity of 60 clients, and will be Fremont’s first memory care center.

ASEB Mission San Jose is slated to open in November of 2014.
