ASEB’s talk radio program, Life is a Sacred Journey was just given honorable mention for “Best Blog” in PR Daily’s 2014 Nonprofit PR Awards.
Life is a Sacred Journey is featured on BlogTalkRadio.com. The program began last fall as a collaboration between the show’s host, ASEB CEO Micheal Pope, and her group of international interns, who serve as producers. The interns–who came from Belgium, Singapore, Zambia, and Turkey–brought marketing expertise to ASEB and spearheaded a rebranding campaign that included social media, radio campaigns, and visual aspects of our centers.
Since it’s first episode, the Life is a Sacred Journey has had 10,000 listeners, and was recently awarded a grant from the Area Agency on Aging to further its service in community education. Subjects run the gamut–from aging, to memory loss, to sexuality, to spirituality, to technology…and more!
The PR Daily Nonprofit PR Awards were created in 2012 to give public-service entities a competition of their own. This year’s program drew hundreds of entries from nonprofit and public organizations. Categories included Advocacy, Re-Branding, Development/Fundraising Campaign, Website, and many others.
